The Bachelor of Information Technology and Management Degree Program is designed for transfer students and working professionals. Each year, students transfer to Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) from two-year technical schools, community colleges and other universities.

Admission Requirements for Transfer Students
Admission to the program is competitive and is based on a review of college transcripts and documentation of work experience.
The applicant should hold an associate’s degree from an accredited college or the equivalent (completion of 60 credit hours). Students who have completed less than 60 hours should contact an advisor. Only courses in which the student has earned a grade of “C” or better may be accepted for transfer. A grade point average of 3.0/4.0 is recommended.
Degree Requirements for Transfer Students
Students are expected to complete 66 credit hours at IIT in addition to 60 transfer credit hours, for a total of 126 credit hours. Combined transfer and IIT coursework must satisfy the distribution requirements specified in the General Education section of the Undergraduate Bulletin. A minimum of 45 credit hours must be taken at IIT.
